Ah, a breezy morning filled with sweet flowers scented air from Mama Gaia. Our favourite trio hanged out at the garden, drinking bitter tea like some veteran Japanese samurais reminiscing on their glorious young days.
Just for your reference, Mama Gaia is a name the Guardians referred Mother Nature as. Let’s try and see if we could eavesdrop on them, shall we?

Luc: (Sipping tea) I noticed something…Emma’s blog is a bit mushy, isn’t it?
The N: What do you expect her to write about? Angst? Jealousy? Revenge? I only came a few days ago but I know her enough to tell that she’s not that kind of blogger.
Gabriel: Wrong. Well, kinda. She is such a blogger but only when something or someone really pissed her off. She’s mushy almost all of the time. She takes love seriously.
The N: Lovers’ Day is coming so I guess she’ll be expecting something…
Gabriel: Wrong again. She doesn’t. Never did.
The N: (Raised an eyebrow) That’s…lame.
Gabriel: Well, she thinks her crushes are one-sided, from her side of course. And Ryan can’t afford anything extravagant. She handled the billings on their dates.
Luc: Unorthodox, isn’t she?
Gabriel: Always was.
The N: So what about this Caine guy? I think he’s gonna make it special for her.
Luc: Perhaps. Already did last year, on her birthday.
Gabriel: I doubt it. It was a mere coincidence. I think he sees milady as his little sister. After all, he doesn’t have one. He said so himself last year.
Luc: That was before the birthday.
Gabriel: A brother treating his sister on her birthday is nothing unusual.
The N: This year’s gonna be another disappointment then?
Luc: Not if Gabe has something on his mind…
Gabriel: I can’t do anything about it. I usually just sit around and talk with her.
Luc: Hmm….but she seemed happy enough with us around.
The N: She’s a human. She’s acting like it doesn’t matter at all when it does actually. That’s how they are, right Gabe?
Gabriel: Yeah. But enough about that. Who knows for sure what will happen this year. (He sipped the last few drops of his tea and stood up, ready to take leave.) Best we can do is just to sit & wait. Let’s go in. If we stay here too long, I’m afraid she’ll be bored inside the house. I don’t want her calling father down to tell on us. And I’m not ready to meet any new Guardians right now.
Luc and the N shrugged and finished their teas. They tailed Gabriel into the house. The three of them took their own seats next to Emma while she watched the TV and she imagined her dinner since today she has to fast, according to her Catholic beliefs.
