(AI) Alone
What can you see in the clouds?
When the wind blows dry
And what the day tells you
When night veils the sky?
Father Time, hear me cry
Mother Nature, is this it?
Sister Wind, share with me…
My brothers, the stars, show me…
The world spins
But why am I standing still
When day and night veil the sky in turn
Why can’t I feel the passing seconds peacefully?
Father Time, do take me away
Away far, far from here
Take me into eternity
A reality beyond reality
Mother Nature, tell me why
Why are we here exactly?
Is it really this hard?
Was it supposed to be this hard?
Life, is this it?
Sister Wind, come and stay
Share with me the wisdom of your travels
The world that you see
Come and stay and embrace me in your gentle arms
Dear brothers Stars, whisper to me
Hope, though she wavers
Faith, though he wanders
Love, though she weeps in the silent corners
Shadows, shadows came to me
Knocked on my door
They demand to enter
Shadows, shadows they’re here
Begging, pleading for a stay
An eternal stay
Shadows, shadows I’ve cast them away
Once, I remember clearly now
So why are they still here?
Father Time
Mother Nature
Sister Wind
Brothers Stars
What can you see in the clouds?
And you, dear you…
What can you see?
If I showed you my heart
Can you tell?
Can you see?
Just how much you hurt me?
I’ll remain in silence
My lips locked in respect
My heart shrugs this away
My soul shall weep silently
…because you’ll never know
My imprisoned heart
A prisoner of reality
A prisoner of trust issues
You’ll never know
I’ll never tell you
…cruel Father Time
…strict Mother Nature
…selfish Sister Wind
…and oh, the lying brothers Stars
Is that what you see?
Am I alone?
I am not
I never was
Never will be
Just because you can’t see me
I am not alone
I have Me
The Lord
Love

Beautifully written hun both in its words and its heart, it speaks of the affinity with the sky one that I hold strongly. Thanks for sharing this one, it’s made my day!

I see hope in the clouds when the wind blows dry . .
I see faith in the stars, through our teary eyes;
I see love in the allness as the beauty unfolds . . .
And the never ending story, shall one day be told
Rather, one day be finished, Whilst we count our blessings
In the songs spun by Glaize - with unending lessons . . .
And the gifts of the songs she spins for those who wander and search
For the answers not found in school, religion or church
But in the search from within and the depth of our souls
And the sharing of kindness with so many weary souls
As the Blessings are Counted whilst the saga unfolds. . .
Thanks for being my. I’m patiently awaiting the next segment of Counting Blessings. This poem, alone, is very beautiful and spiritual. But do always remember, you are never alone. Thanks for creating another one! and giving me such nice poetry on my blog. PLL, CordieB.
